    Leah

    Clinical Intern

    Leah (she/her) is a compassionate and empathetic mental health professional. She is currently pursuing her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at William James College. She has concentrated her studies on couples and families, in addition to adults experiencing symptoms of anxiety, depression, trauma, and grief.

    Leah has worked in various settings including a community mental health center, school, and private practice. Providing care to individuals with diverse psychological needs.

    Leah uses an integrative approach, pulling from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). Through CBT, Leah helps individuals identify the connections between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, encouraging them to develop healthier coping mechanisms and behavioral strategies. Leah is passionate about using a person-centered approach to therapy, believing that each individual holds the power to create positive change within themselves and that fostering self-awareness is key to long-term growth and healing.

    In addition to her professional life, Leah enjoys spending time with friends and family. Growing up on the East Coast, the beach is her favorite place, especially when reading a good psychological thriller or romantic novel.

    Leah is fully equipped to provide the care you seek, offering an inviting and safe space that is accessible to everyone. She is passionate about fostering a therapeutic relationship where clients feel both supported and empowered, ensuring that each experiences growth and healing in a collaborative, compassionate environment.
