Caitlin
Caitlin (she/her) pursuing her master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a specialization in Dance/Movement Therapy from Lesley University.
With a background in ABA therapy, she has worked extensively with children on the autism spectrum to improve their quality of life. She is passionate about working with children to find their creative outlet when words are not always accessible.
Dance/movement therapy combines physical movement and psychological support to promote emotional, social, cognitive, and physical integration to improve health and well-being. Caitlin will be running two dance/movement therapy groups for children and adolescents on Fridays in-person starting October 25, 2024. Through this group, the clients will learn about non-verbal expression, building confidence, and emotional regulation.
Caitlin currently works to teach children with and without disabilities ballet and social-emotional skills. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking, trying new restaurants, going on day trips with friends, and hanging out with different animals.
