Community-Based & MBHP Services
Leading Light Behavioral Health is approved to provide MBHP-funded community-based behavioral health services designed to support individuals with significant mental health needs who require care beyond traditional outpatient therapy.
Our community-based services focus on stabilization, skill-building, care coordination, and collaboration with community systems. Services are delivered in community settings when clinically indicated and are designed to support individuals in navigating complex behavioral health, housing, and justice-related challenges.
All services are provided based on medical necessity, clinical appropriateness, and MBHP eligibility requirements.
Community Support Program (CSP)
The Community Support Program (CSP) provides individualized, community-based behavioral health support for adults with significant mental health needs who require assistance beyond clinic-based therapy alone.
CSP services focus on improving daily functioning, supporting recovery, and increasing stability through care coordination, skill-building, and collaboration with healthcare and community providers. Services are delivered in community settings when clinically appropriate.
Community Support Program for Homeless Individuals (CSP-HI)
The Community Support Program for Homeless Individuals (CSP-HI) provides community-based behavioral health support for adults experiencing homelessness or housing instability who have significant mental health needs.
Services focus on engagement, stabilization, and coordination with shelters, outreach teams, housing providers, and healthcare systems. CSP-HI supports individuals in navigating behavioral health services and community resources while working toward increased stability and continuity of care.
Community Support Program for Justice-Involved Individuals (CSP-JI)
The Community Support Program for Justice-Involved Individuals (CSP-JI) provides community-based behavioral health support for adults impacted by the criminal justice system, including individuals involved with probation, parole, re-entry, or court-related services.
Services focus on stabilization, skill-building, and coordination with justice, behavioral health, and community partners. CSP-JI supports individuals in addressing behavioral health needs while navigating community reintegration and system requirements.
Community Support Program – Tenancy Preservation Program (CSP-TPP)
The Community Support Program – Tenancy Preservation Program (CSP-TPP) provides community-based behavioral health support for individuals at risk of eviction due to mental health challenges or related functional impairments.
Services emphasize collaboration with housing courts, landlords, legal advocates, and community partners to support housing stability. CSP-TPP assists individuals in developing skills, managing behavioral health symptoms, and addressing barriers that may impact their ability to maintain safe and stable housing.
Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)
Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) is an evidence-based, structured treatment designed to support individuals who experience emotional dysregulation, intense distress, and difficulties in relationships.
DBT services at Leading Light Behavioral Health are delivered in alignment with the core principles of the DBT model developed by Dr. Marsha Linehan. Treatment focuses on building practical skills in:
Mindfulness
Distress Tolerance
Emotion Regulation
Interpersonal Effectiveness
DBT is a skills-based treatment with clear structure and expectations and is not unstructured talk therapy. Participation requires commitment to treatment and active engagement in skills practice.
