Community Support Program (CSP)
The Community Support Program (CSP) provides individualized, community-based behavioral health support for adults with significant mental health needs who require services beyond traditional outpatient therapy.
CSP focuses on care coordination, skill-building, and support with accessing behavioral health, medical, housing, and social services. Services are delivered in community settings when clinically appropriate and are designed to promote stability, recovery, and improved daily functioning.
Who This Service Is Appropriate For
- Adults (18+) with significant behavioral health needs
- Individuals requiring assistance with care coordination or system navigation
- Individuals whose needs cannot be met by outpatient therapy alone
- MBHP members who meet medical necessity and eligibility criteria
Who This Service May Not Be Appropriate For
- Individuals seeking only traditional outpatient psychotherapy
- Individuals whose needs can be met exclusively through clinic-based services
- Individuals who do not meet MBHP eligibility or medical necessity requirements

Referral and Eligibility Notes
CSP services are available to MBHP members who meet clinical and medical necessity criteria. Referrals may be made by individuals or community partners, including healthcare providers, hospitals, and social service agencies. Final service determination is made through clinical review.
