  • CSP for Homeless Individuals (CSP-HI)

    The Community Support Program for Homeless Individuals (CSP-HI) provides community-based behavioral health support for adults experiencing homelessness or housing instability who have significant mental health needs. 

    Services focus on engagement, stabilization, and coordination with shelters, outreach teams, housing providers, and healthcare systems to support continuity of care and improved functioning. 

    Who This Service Is Appropriate For 

    • Adults experiencing homelessness or housing instability 
    • Individuals with significant behavioral health needs 
    • Individuals requiring outreach-based or community-based support 
    • MBHP members who meet eligibility and medical necessity criteria 

    Who This Service May Not Be Appropriate For 

    • Individuals without behavioral health treatment needs 
    • Individuals seeking housing placement only without behavioral health support 
    • Individuals not eligible for MBHP services

    Referral and Eligibility Notes 

    CSP-HI services are available to eligible MBHP members experiencing homelessness or housing instability. Referrals may be submitted by individuals, shelters, outreach teams, hospitals, and community agencies. Services are authorized based on clinical review and medical necessity.
